Personal pronouns and present tense

This Spanish lesson will be about pronouns and present tense. As in any other language Spanish has pronouns ( I, you,he,she,it,you,we,they) that you must know  by heart. In this lesson You will learn how to conjugate the first group of verbs as well.  1st group of verbs are those that end in -ar.

The personal pronouns are the ones that are beneath in the table.

Personal pronouns
Examples:
Yo
Yo camino por el parque
( do not forget the accent mark)
caminas por el parque
Él, Ella
Él/ella camina por el parque
Nosotros
Nosotros caminamos por el parque
Ustedes
Ustedes caminan por el parque
Ellos
Ellos caminan por el parque

Now, the conjugation of the verbs with -ar endings is:

Caminar (-ar ending)
 Hablar (-ar ending)
Yo
Camino            -o
 Hablo            -o
Caminas          -as
 Hablas           -as
Él/Ella
Camina            -a
 Habla            -a
Nosotros
Caminamos     -amos
 Hablamos     -amos
Ustedes
Caminan          -an
 Hablan          -an
Ellos
Caminan          -an
 Hablan          -an

It is not that difficult, but it is necessary to set aside time to study and memorize this endings.  For French people could be easier to learn, realize and not forget that every single verbs must be conjugated according to the personal pronouns, because they has the same rule in French ( every verb must be conjugated).

Notice that there are a root and an ending. For example the root of Caminar will be: Camin and instead of the -ar ending we add the termination according to the personal pronoun; Yo camino, caminas, Él/Ella camina and so on.

Do the following exercises: Conjugate according to the personal pronoun the following verbs:

Cortar  (to cut)
Mirar   (to see)
Cantar (to sing)
 Bajar   (to go down)
Gritar  (to yell)

I will give you a hint :

Yo Cort----
Tú Cort----
Él/Ella Cort---
Nosotro Cort---
Ustedes Cort---
Ellos/Ellas Cort---
